Franklin Delano Roosevelt was born on January 30, 1882, and died on April 12, 1945. He was frequently known as FDR and was the 32nd President of the United States from 1933 to 1945. During Roosevelt’s presidential campaign of 1932, it was clear that it was about a deliberation over the reasons and possible solutions to the Great Depression. Herbert Hoover who was the president at the time intended to depend largely on normal procedures of revival, while Roosevelt was ready to utilize the federal government’s influence for courageous investigational remedies. He was elected president on the proposal of a “New Deal” for the American people, which made some good changes for them.   These changes included new work and social programs along with different laws for Social Security.  By making these incredible changes after a victorious election and the Great Depression, Roosevelt was elected to an unparalleled four terms of office, which made him the only U.S. president elected more than twice. Due to this, he was part of the reason the United States Constitution was amended to put a stop to presidents from being elected after having served two terms. Therefore, Roosevelt’s most important contributions were the establishment of main economic and social assistance programs which was in reaction to the Great Depression.  By him accomplishing these changes that were a part of the New Deal plan, he became one of the greatest presidents America has ever had.
